Alzheimer's Arkansas Walk
in Little Rock

This year marked the 19th Annual “Zoo” Walk in Little Rock. As hundreds of walkers arrived, they were greeted by cheer leaders and “tunes” including everything from circus music to the big band era. The tone was set for a morning of fun. John Lee, our ever faithful emcee, brings his banjo and mandolin and serenaded the large crowd along with his friends Steve and David Evans. Mimes from Parkway High School entertained both adults and children. Teens from the Mayor’s Youth Council in North Little Rock painted faces.

Thank you to all the sponsors, individual walkers, teams and volunteers who not only generated proceeds; but because of you, the devastating effects of Alzheimer’s and its impact on the individual, the family and the community of Little Rock was put in the spotlight. The proceeds generated remain in Arkansas and will help fund a wide variety of educational programs and services provided by Alzheimer’s Arkansas.
