Support Groups

As a caregiver, family member or friend of someone who has Alzheimer’s disease, you may feel overwhelmed and frustrated. Often it helps to talk with someone who really understands what you are going through, someone who knows just how you feel. You can meet that someone at the Alzheimer’s Support Group.

Alzheimer’s Arkansas, through its support groups and presentations, strives to:

  • Provide the opportunity for self expression
  • Assist in identifying and locating resources
  • Collaborate with other organizations to improve services
  • Remove the stigma associated with dementia
  • Promote Hope and Optimism

Drawing of two women sitting at a table.Free Coffee at the Memory Café: The Memory Café presented by Starbucks and Alzheimer’s Arkansas will be offering the opportunity for individuals living with early memory loss to enjoy a time of fellowship and fun. The Café is also open to family and friends. Come and share a FREE cup of coffee with people who understand and care. The Memory Café is open every 3rd Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Alzheimer’s Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock. For information, call Priscilla Pittman at 501-224-0021.
