Caregiver Workshops

Are you a caregiver who needs a break?  Carelink and Alzheimer’s Arkansas are here to help.

**FREE FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE**

To qualify the person for whom you are caring for must meet the following criteria:

  • Care Recipient must  live in Pulaski, Lonoke, Saline, Faulkner, Monroe, or Prairie County
  • Be 60 years or older
  • Have a chronic illness that requires a caregiver
  • Is not receiving like services (Medicare, Medicaid, Elder Choices, or Hospice)

lunch-learnLunch and Learn Workshops

Our Lunch and Learns are education workshops with a local professional there to answer questions on topics that not only deal with Alzheimer’s Disease but also other senior issues. These workshops will be on the First Thursday of every month at First United Methodist Church at 12 pm, except for December.

Our next speaker is on March 2nd. We will be featuring Kevin Burnson, PA and Gayle Corley, P.A Attorneys at Law speaking on Estate Planning to Avoid Guardianship Proceedings & Probate, & Paying for Long Term Care. Lunch provided by Right at Home.
